Description
Richard Geary Rusk interviews Nicholas Katzenbach about his working relationship with Dean Rusk during the administrations of Presidents Kennedy and Johnson. Katzenbach speaks of Rusk's relationship with both presidents, Attorney General Robert Kennedy, Clark Clifford and others. He discusses Rusk's loyalty to both presidents and his diplomacy as Secretary of State, especially during the Vietnamese Conflict years. He shares several ancedotes involving Dean Rusk and other cabinet members of both adminstrations.
Nicholas Katzenbach served as U.S. attorney general (1965-1966) and under secretary of state (1966-1969).
