Lucius Battle discusses his long relationship with Dean Rusk both as a colleague and friend. He talks about U.S. foreign policy from World War II through the Vietnam War. He gives his views on Rusk and former Secretaries of State Dean Acheson and John Foster Dulles, as well as others he worked with through the years. He describes the effect of the Vietnam War on those involved.
