Dean Rusk describes the U.S. efforts to bring the Vietnam War to a close and the subsequent peace talks. In particular, he discusses the selection of the U.S. delegation, the conflicts among the members of the U.S. delegation, and the effect of the U.S. political situation and Congress on the Paris Peace talks. He also discusses Cambodia's Civil War (1970-1975), China, and chemical warfare.
