Edward Sterling Gardner was born in Athens in 1963, and currently works as the VP of Workforce Development Programs for the Boys & Girls Club. In this interview he discusses his experiences with race relations in the community and his academic and professional career. He also talks about his most recent work with YouthForce, an organization under the Boys & Girls Club that specializes in preparing young people for entry into the workforce.
