Mary Inez McKinney was born in May 1939 in Athens. She attended West Broad Street Elementary School, Reese Street Middle School, and Athens High and Industrial School. In this Interview, she discusses her experience growing up in Athens and getting married after high school. She then recalls life after moving off the grid with her husband, and talks about the different jobs she had until retirement.
