LaTasha Sheats was born and raised in Athens in 1979. She attended Clarke Central High School and Albany State University for two years, eventually receiving an accounting degree at Athens Technical College. In this interview, Sheats discusses her work and life experience that allowed her to start Sheats Social Services, which focuses on helping underserved communities be self-sufficient.
