Dwain Segar was born in 1957 in New York City and moved to Athens with his partner, staying in the area after they separated. With past experience from his work in security, Segar founded the Kids Feel Safe program in Athens, partnering with local businesses, schools, and the police to create a safer city for youth. He also started the Segar Jazz Affair, a weekly radio show and concert series which has been ongoing for almost 15 years. In this interview, Segar talks about his various careers from management to security, along with his family and his ideas for his own future with Parkinson's Disease and the future of Athens.
