Jesse Ward was born in 1933 in Farmington, Georgia, and raised in Athens as the oldest of seven, among two sisters and four brothers. He spent a large amount of his life in Boston, Massachusetts, before moving back to Georgia. In this interview, Ward discusses how he developed and applied his skills in butchery, singing and entertainment, upholstery, and gardening. He also spends time talking about his love for sports, and expresses his appreciation of his longevity.
