Description

Harrison Dowdy was born in 1947 and was raised in Madison County, Georgia. He attended Wagner Grove Church School and Southside High School in Comer, Georgia before attending technical school. He then joined the Air Force as a machinist during the Vietnam War, where he took assignments in Puerto Rico and California performing aircraft maintenance. Following his service he taught at Athens Technical College and began teaching safety courses to clients.
