S.E. "Chip" Vandiver III interviewed by Hal Henderson. Vandiver is the son of Betty and Ernest Vandiver. He clerked for Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jordan and had a private law practice in Lavonia, Ga. In his interview, topics include his father’s influence on him, working on his father’s campaigns, problems in the 1972 Senate race, and growing up in the governor’s mansion.
