Ernest Freeman Leverett interviewed by Hal Henderson. Leverett served as assistant attorney general of Georgia from 1955 to 1959. In this interview, topics include Freeman's position in Vandiver’s administration and his relationship with Vandiver, Freeman's opinion of Vandiver's “No, not one” segregationist speech, the Honesty in Government Act, the Sibley Commission, the county unit system, and Vandiver’s accomplishments and failures as governor.
