Florinda Arroyo se nació en el estado de Michoacán en México y se mudó a Athens, Georgia con su esposo, donde abrieron el restaurante Tlaloc, El Mexicano. En esta entrevista, ella habla sobre aprendiendo de cocinar como niña, la idea de abrir el restaurante, las dificultades iniciales, el crecimiento del restaurante y la relación entre Tlaloc, sus clientes y la comunidad.

Florinda Arroyo was born in the state Michoacán, Mexico and moved to Athens, Georgia with her husband, where they opened the restaurant Tlaloc, El Mexicano. In this interview, she talks about learning to cook as a child, the idea to start the restaurant, the initial difficulties, the restaurant’s growth, and the relationship between Tlaloc, its customers, and the community.
