Marcel Mincey was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1970. In this interview, Mincey talks about his family, detailing the life of his mother in Detroit, the unique success of his uncle, and his aunt Christine “Pat” Crowder Hooks. He also details some of his own experiences, including what led him to Athens. He also talks about his experiences mining kaolin during his college years, dives into an in-depth history of Christianity, and offers his advice centered around love and appreciation for life.
