Dean Rusk and William Bundy interviewed by Richard Rusk and Thomas Schoenbaum. Dean Rusk and William P. Bundy discuss U.S. involvement in Vietnam. They touch upon Sen. J. William Fulbright's anti-involvement stance, Congressional support for the war, and the appropriations debate over funding President Johnson's Great Society. They discuss the evolution of public sentiment about involvement in Vietnam. He speaks of the emotional toll the casualties took on Johnson as well as Clark Clifford's change in opinion about the war.
